Ashley A. McMahan

ashleyMs. McMahan was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She has dual citizenship with the US and the United Kingdom. She has twelve years of legal experience.

Prior to forming McMahan Law, LLC, Ms. McMahan worked at the SC Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General for ten years. She was the environmental crimes prosecutor for South Carolina, she handled post-conviction relief matters, prosecuted general criminal and State Grand Jury matters, and handled appeals. Ms. McMahan began her legal career by clerking for two years for the Honorable Clifton Newman of the South Carolina Circuit Court.

She is also an adjunct professor at South University teaching legal studies as well as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina teaching Introduction to Information Literacy.

Ms. McMahan is admitted to the South Carolina Bar, the Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
